WiAd Server Software enables network providers to offer custom DNS services, Intersitual Avertising, National Ad Placement, DynamicDNS service. Name Server Service. Automatic Domain Registration.
WiAd.net has ad insertion technology that inserts HTML and Graphic Images on client PCs in conjunction with ads sold by network provders and or national advertisers.. The most common set up is to use the WiAd insertion system to allow national advertisers and or network providers to target by region ads in browsers in by users on the WiAd enabled network. The system is unique in that it does not require ANY software, or installation on viewer-client PC's.
National Advertisers team with the WiAd network provders to direct toward the regional advantage network providers offer.
The technology is tiered with the network providers data stream to insert ads in place of openspaces on browsers or to create intersitual , header fooder, embeded script ads. Page content is never modified.
WiAd is not a publisher or an Advertiser, we offer the software/servers that allow you to place ads on your network that your users view.

First a bit of a primer as to who is an Advertiser and who is a NetworkProvider/Publisher.
They all, in most cases, pretty much wind up being the same entity, but lets be more descriptive. .
Advertisers = Have ads they want displayed to viewers.NetworkProviders/Publishers = Have some way for ads to be viewed.
If you run an Internet Cafe and want to make money selling ads on your system, you are a NetworkProvider/Publisher.
If you want to have your own ads on your customers computers, at your Inet Cafe, say a picture and price of that tasty biscotti,
then your both an advertiser and publish - er. In fact we recommend that you be both. Why not sell a few of your own products on your own network.

If your a Hotel/Motel or Resort and you offer Wi Fi then you are a publisher, you can use this system to market to your guest; massages, hot wraps, dining opportunity's etc..
If you add your own ads then you are both an advertiser and NetworkProvider/Publisher.

If you are a Marketing Company, say, you are the guys that put card racks in local tourist joints and you want to sell ad's on local Wi Fi systems, then your an advertiser.
You create your own ads, develop them place them online then charge local businesses to have their ads show up on the local Hotel/Motel Wi Fi systems, or the local Inet Cafes
Then get any of the local Wi Fi providers online with WiAd.net and they wil show your ads, share your revenue with them by your own schedule.

If your an ISP/WISP etc, you can use this system to sell ads to your local customers. You can specifically assign an ad group by IP block.

None, we will give you configuration settings for your network router/gateway that will use our servers to handle the advertising placement. You do not need a server or a special
router, or any software. Our system supports all routers. If you are an ISP with over 1,000 subscribers or plan to have over a 1,000 users, we will configure a server for you free of charge.
Network Providers Questions
(Inet Cafes, Hotels, Motels, WISP, ISP)1) What if I only want my own ads on my network?
That's pretty simple, we have two financial programs for you. Bulk Pay; where you pay to include a count of ads, for example 100,000 impressions.
Or pay per impression, aka CPM, where you only pay for as many of your ads you want displayed , then no more ads wil run.
2) How would this impact my existing network framework.
You can defer to a hosting plan for the sytem or install WiAdServers at your location. A WiAd server is a windows PC With the WiAdServer.exe applicaton on it.
Once ready to use the system you make changes to the DHCP asigment of your users.
Or if you want us to host a serving system. You let us know your assigned IP block and gateway address and assign customer IP blocks,well give you the DHCP settings and have a wiad hosting company do the rest.
3) What if I am a startup or a wannabe WISP
No problem, you can use our tiered system, as such the system will never cost you a penny more than you earned.
Advertiser Questions
1) How Do I Install the server

2) Does this cost anything?
No, there is no charge to try out the system.
3) Will this eventually cost me.
Yes but only after you have a sucessfull advertising program on your system.
4) How do you guys make anything off of this?
Your system prepays for a block of ad insertion in your customers/clients browsing sessions, our system automaticly deducts credit from your prepaid account.
5) Where will my ads show up.
We insert ads on all major web pages BBC, MSN, Yahoo, Ask.com , pretty much every page that now has ads on it will now include yours.
6) Does this have anything to do with Google.
No., WiAd does not have any affiliation with Google. Some of our other sites have Google Ads though.
7) Will my ads show up in search queries.
Yes along side with the fact that, your ads are placed in standard web pages, essentially in the same spot where ads would occur. Failed Domain searches will result in ads displayed on a search querry of the WiAd client network provider's choice.
Either text or graphic ads are supported. In all standard sizes.
8) How is this different than Yahoo or Google
Yahoo and Google place ads on their pages and on their search queries.
The WiAd.net system puts ads on all pages your customers view in the body of the page where the page designer has left space for an ad. Or via intersitual ads or header and footer ads.
Pretty much about 1 out of every 5 pages sub clients view will have one of your ads on it.
9) I've seen this at Air Ports
Probably not. Most airport systems splash an ad during the log in process, not that we
can't do that as well, our system places ads in almost each and every page the user sees, right where an ad is supposed to be.
Your ad never looks out of place. We don't use headers or footers for placement, again we place the ad right in the body
where the page designer has left room for ad space. National advertisers can make arrangements to target your base by location, by interacting with your WiAdServer.
10) Where does this work.
On any internet connection by remote servers or servers installed at your location.
